(I am aware my Tumblr theme makes it less pleasant to read fics, so I’m really sorry about that. Hope you guys forgive me for attempting to write fic and then halfway giving up and laughing my ass off while writing it. I tried, you guys.)
Logan really was telling an interesting story and Julian really was trying to pay attention to him, but having Sebastian conveniently sit right behind his best friend was not the best equation. This was something the actor almost immediately realized, as Logan went off on a rant about a history assignment and Sebastian just smirked, crossing his long legs and folding his hands. Julian raised a daring eyebrow, Sebastian mimicking the gesture while the corner of his lips curled.
“I mean, how does she even expect me to –“ Logan continued.
Sebastian ran a hand through his enormous hair, outrageously big, really. It looked ridiculous. Julian smirked as he thought of all the animals that could be living in there and Sebastian raised an eyebrow as he caught sight of the expression on Julian’s face. But all he received was a simple shrug.
The doors slammed open, Derek strolling in casually and Logan halted in his speech, while Julian looked up. Derek froze for a moment as he stared past Logan, his lips twitched strangely before he threw himself down in a chair with a grunt. “I’m in a team full of idiots! Honestly! I asked for one more goal, how hard can it possibly be?!” Derek complained, loudly and Julian looked away from his friend to reconnect with Sebastian but was surprised to find the other student’s eyes resting on Derek. For a second taken aback but then catching on, Julian slowly looked back and forth between his best friend and Sebastian. Logan eyed him puzzled, as Julian crossed his arms satisfied and sat back in his chair. “Jules…?” He wondered, confused.
Julian merely smirked and Sebastian eyed him up, as he slowly got out of his chair. “Excuse me, gentlemen. I need to talk to someone, real quick.” Sebastian shook his head with a glare but couldn’t do anything as Julian advanced on him and pulled him out of his chair. He threw Logan and Derek another creepily pleasant smile before dragging Sebastian with him, the boy loudly complaining.
The door slammed shut.
Logan turned to Derek so quickly, it was a wonder his head didn’t fall off. “Is something going on between them?”
Derek crossed his arms, looking just as pissed as Logan did. “There better not be,” he said. Logan nodded, glad someone agreed with him and shared his worry for Julian. “He’s into blondes, for god’s sake. I’m blonde. Sebastian isn’t blonde.”
“Well, maybe a sandy bl-“ Derek cut in, but shut up when Logan glared at him.

Julian turned around, facing Sebastian and said promptly: “You’re into my best friend.”
“No offense, but Logan really isn’t my type, weirdly enough I’m not into psychopaths with anger issues.” Sebastian replied, rolling his eyes with a half-smile. Julian just hit his arm, ignoring the jab at Logan, before getting to the point. “You know who I’m referring to.”
“There’s nothing going on between us!” Sebastian said, defensive and Julian smirked, glad he was pretty much the only one in the world who could make Sebastian give in that fast. “But you want there to be, don’t you?” Julian got up in his face and then poked the boy’s chest, victoriously. “You – want to do the dirty with Derek Seigerson.”
Sebastian slapped his hand away, irritated. “Fine. I do. I want to do all the dirty to him and with him. You happy now?”
“Well you don’t have to put it like that.” Julian mumbled, pretending he was offended. “I thought what we had was special.” Sebastian laughed under his breath, playing along. “You’ll always be in my top ten.” He offered, placing a hand under his chin and tilting it so that he could press a soft kiss to Julian’s cheek.
Logan who happened to walk by during the moment, stopped, gawked for a second and Julian removed Sebastian’s hand away immediately, eyeing Logan cautiously. The blond looked between them and then continued walking slightly faster than was usual, but like he hadn’t seen a thing.
“Nice move there,” Julian snapped at the boy in front of him and Sebastian shrugged, carelessly. “Maybe this makes him see sense for once in his life.” Julian’s eyes narrowed and then went cool. “I really doubt it, considering we almost died and we’re still not together - Now,” he paused. “Derek. I’m really not giving you The Talk right now, considering we’ve seen each other naked,” Sebastian smirked brilliantly at this. “but let me get this clear, do one thing that is out of order,” Julian stepped closer while saying it. “one thing that hurts him,” another step. “one single thing that goes too far,” a last step, their faces now so close to each other Sebastian could clearly see the seriousness in Julian’s eyes. “I will not hesitate to release your name to the press and then you won’t have a life anymore.”
Sebastian just smirked, looking the other way for a moment then looked back at Julian. “Fine.” He breathed, grudgingly. “I solemnly swear to not permanently scar your best friend.”
Julian eyed him suspiciously. “Permanently?” To which Sebastian only grinned, showing off all his teeth.

“You know he’s not the right guy for you.” Logan spoke up in the middle of the new Spiderman trailer, interrupting the tense silence that had been there since Derek and Julian had sat down. Julian frowned, not looking away from the screen. “What, Andrew Garfield? He’s 30 and with Emma Stone, I wasn’t planning on it, Lo.” Derek snorted.
Logan didn’t blink or laugh. “I was talking about Sebastian. Seriously. You could do much better.”
Julian looked away from the screen and raised a single eyebrow, looking unimpressed. “Like?”
Logan spluttered, for a moment not knowing what to say and Julian rolled his eyes. “You’re looking at the wrong guy here, Lord Squid of Ignorance the Third. If you want to worry about Sebastian hooking up with someone, I suggest you look at the second biggest manwhore behind me.”
Logan looked confused as Derek choked on a piece of popcorn. “You have got to be kidding me. Really, Derek? Sebastian? You?” Derek ended up shrugging, chewing on a new piece after realizing he was not going to die and swallowing. “He’s a fun time. What can I say?”
“You’re supposed to be straight!” Logan threw back. And Derek looked vaguely pissed now. “Yeah, and you’re supposed to be with Julian, but I guess we’ve long given up on rules, haven’t we?”
There was a long silence before Julian pulled a face, grabbed a tub of Ben&Jerry’s and stabbed a spoonful into his mouth. “Well this just turned really awkward.”
